Q. What’s your average turnaround? What about a “rush job”?
A. The project’s scope determines the timeline. Done quickly or done well-that’s your choice. Syrenmuse always specifies project scope and time first. If you want a project done overnight or over a weekend, a rush fee is exacted on top of the project estimate.
Q. I don’t see my industry in your resume. How can I expect you’ll be able to write to it?
A. I have made successful campaigns and worked with industries which, before, I had never had contact with. Part of being a good copywriter is research and part of our initial contact is requesting resource materials to review. I’ll have questions of course, and it is a good “getting to know each other’s style” time as well. My job is to do my homework to fully understand everything I need to to provide you with the best possible results. Still need more? Read what my clients are saying about me.
Q. Can you provide graphics and layout for my project? How about print and mail my newsletter once you write it?
A. Yes, I am your Offsite Marketing Department. My expertise is in providing you with a full menu of options for publication of your final product. That includes getting a sense of your style and translating that to the final layout of your material. I can act as liaison for any and all of your marketing needs. I will serve as a project manager and if there is a need for outside contracting, the layer will be invisible and seamless.
Q. This type of thing always has revisions, how many do I get?
A. Included in the per-project fee are two rounds of revisions. Provided that you do not change the scope or direction of the project that is what is included in your contract.
Q. Can I cancel the project or change the scope?
A. If you decide to cancel or change the project contact me as soon as possible. In most cases, I will have to provide you with a new project outline and fee. Outright cancellation will be billed a pro-rated amount based on an hourly fee for time worked until cancellation.
Q. Do you protect intellectual content (story, lyrics, logo?)
A. That is copyright, not copywrite and no, I do not. To investigate that process more, start here: www.copyright.gov
New York, Rome, Seattle... Tacoma? These cities in my life (so far!) created my sense of style and fueled my love of shoes beauty. Business to business writing is my specialty.
Raised near Manhattan, schooled in Italy, home again to cross a continent to Puget Sound. I observe pattern and design and translate them into the form and functionality of style.
